INFOKU, BLORA — Chairman of the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo) Blora Baskoro Santiko resigned from his position.
Even more surprising, he also withdrew from the prospective legislative candidates (bacaleg).
This is evidenced from his resignation letter to the general chairman of the Perindo DPP.
In fact, the party leadership has escorted dozens of legislative candidates to prepare themselves until the registration stage.
Even so, Baskoro Santiko admitted that his decision to withdraw from politics was unanimous.
The main reason is not having enough time to rally the masses to the party and also there is friction within the party.

Baskoro said that there was internal friction within the party that made him withdraw from the nomination and resign as chairman of the Perindo Blora DPD.
He felt unappreciated when he became chairman like the overlapping actions that other administrators had done to him.
In addition, his decision was also supported by family factors. He wants to be able to spend more time with his family. In addition, he admits that there are also many activities outside the party.
“During meetings I feel unappreciated. Indeed, I am a new person at Perindo, but please just respect each other. Moreover, at that time I was chairman of the Perindo Blora DPD, so it was uncomfortable. Besides that, I admit that I don't have enough time to raise the masses. Maybe in the future I just want to have children and grandchildren, more family time," he said in a press statement (21/6).

He said that during the registration of his legislative candidates in some of the electoral districts he used his personal funds.
Also do not know his replacement to become the next chairman of the DPD.
Baskoro admits that there is still a desire to return to politics again.
"In fact, those who took care of the health checks, SKCK, and tickets at PA for the Perindo Blora Bacalegs from various electoral districts used my personal money. I can't say for sure about returning to politics. For now more watching and waiting. We'll see in the future," he concluded.
Blora KPU attitude
Meanwhile, in this regard, Blora Regency General Election Commission (KPUK) chairman M. Khamdun said he had received a copy of the letter regarding the resignation of the Perindo DPD chairman.
However, according to him, this is still the realm of the party, so decisions that are internal in nature will be handed back to the political parties.
"If indeed this is approved by the internal party, and later the person concerned resigns as party chairman, then the nomination process must have a definitive DPD chairman," he said.
According to him, the definitive chairman can sign the document.
If later there are candidacy documents that need to be amended, then related to candidacy who withdrew, then this will be submitted to the party.

" Want to be replaced, do not want to be approved, or want to be issued and not replaced," he explained.
Khamdun said that the schedule for administrative verification (vermin) will last until June 23 and from June 24 to 26 the submission of the vermin results.
“After that, there are two weeks for the party to correct the documents. There are various kinds of repairs. For example, replacing candidates, changing serial numbers, repairing documents," he stated. (Endah / IST )
