Landslides in Mlangsen and Tambahrejo Blora Sub-Districts to be Handled Immediately

 


INFOKU, BLORA - Landslides in the Mlangsen and Tambahrejo Sub-Districts, Blora District, Blora Regency, are immediately handled by the Blora Regency PUPR Office through the Water Resources (SDA) Division together with the Pemali River Basin Center (BBWS) Pemali Juana Semarang.  

The Head of the Blora PUPR Service, Samgautama Karnajaya, through the Head of Water Resources (SDA) of the Blora DPUPR, Surat, explained that BBWS had conducted a field survey and planned to measure it on Friday (12/5/2023).

"Today's plan is to carry out measurements, God willing, hopefully starting next week it will be realized," explained the Head of SDA DPUPR Blora, Surat, Friday (12/5/2023).

He stated, from several existing landslide points, due to budget constraints, this year the priority for handling these two locations, namely in the Addrejo and Mlangsen Villages, Blora Kota District. 

"For other landslide locations, efforts will be made to prioritize handling in the following year," Surat added.

It is known that currently there are at least 8 points of landslides in two sub-districts (Blora and Jepon) in the Blora Regency area which urgently need to be addressed because of the threat to residents' settlements.

A total of 8 points where the landslides were located on the main Lusi river, each in the Addrejo, Jetis, Kedungjenar, Mlangsen, Bangkle and Karangjati Villages.

As for the avalanche conditions in the Tambahrejo Village, at least four houses on the banks of the Lusi River are at risk of landslides.

If there is no immediate treatment, it is possible that the residents' houses will collapse. In fact, the latest development has even added two houses, bringing a total of 6 houses.

The Head of Tambahrejo Village, Marthin Ukie Andhana, currently has six houses in his village, all of which are located on the banks of the Lusi River, which are threatened with collapse.

It was explained that the residents' houses that were threatened with collapse included those owned by Wiji, Munaji, Sunarti and Nyoman's house.

"All of them are in the RT 4/RW 2 area of ​​the Addrejo Village. The worst condition is the house owned by Nyoman,'' explained Ukie Village Chief. (Setyorini/KOM)
