Dindagkop Not Dare to Revoke Permits of 472 Inactive Cooperatives

INFOKU, BLORA  There are 472 cooperatives confirmed to be inactive, out of a total of 781 units. The average reason is that it is difficult to collect debts from customers.

However, the Blora Cooperative and Small and Medium Enterprises Trade Service (Dindagkop) has not dared to revoke the permit .

For this reason, Dindagkop will consult with neighboring districts.

The Head of the Dindagkop Service, Kiswoyo, through the Head of Cooperatives and SMEs, Wisnu Bambang Wijanarko, told reporters that many cooperatives were not active after  monitoring .

As many as 472 cooperatives have not held an annual member meeting (RAT) in the last three years.

"We are  monitoring , in a row for the last three years we have not conducted RATs," he explained yesterday.

Wisnu explained that some of the information obtained from the cooperative argued that it was difficult to collect loans that had been given to customers. This has had an impact on the financial circulation of cooperatives so that many have fallen. ''Maybe there are also other reasons,''he said.

He admitted that he had sent letters to each cooperative through three assistants.

The letter contains an appeal for cooperatives to immediately implement the RAT before June ends. It knows the exact number of active cooperatives at the end of 2022.

"We are still trying to keep the cooperatives in Blora active again," he said.

Cooperative data at the end of 2020 there were 153 active cooperatives. This number will increase at the end of 2021 to 265 cooperatives declared active. Meanwhile, at the end of 2022, preparations were still underway.

Regarding the revocation of inactive cooperative permits, Wisnu has not dared to make a decision yet.

His party will carry out a feasibility study to Pati Regency to find out in detail the regulations that must be prepared. (Endah / IST )
