BPE Admits to Being Intimidated, Has Paid Rp. 50 million

INFOKU, BLORA  Commissioner Sugianto Lilik responds to a screenshot of the chat of the director of Blora Patra Energi (BPE).

Sugianto admitted that his party received threats from unscrupulous journalists to give them some money.

If not, the unscrupulous journalist will expose the problem of the old Ledok oil well.

“We received intimidation and disrupted BPE's own performance. This is very unfortunate because it tarnishes the good name of journalists and other media. He threatened to use the money for the operations of his media office,'' he said in a statement to the press.

Sugianto explained that his party had not covered up any problems related to the old Ledok well.

Indeed there are a handful of miners whose coordinates are not in accordance with the rules.
