So Sad ....... Ahead of Eid Two Houses of Bajo Blora Residents Burnt By Fire

INFOKU, BLORA  -Another house fire has occurred in Blora district, Central Java, allegedly due to an electrical short circuit.

This event left a sad feeling in the month of Ramadan 1444 Hijri for the owner.

Two houses in Bajo Village, Kedungtuban District, burned down, on Sunday (16/4/2023) at around 10.30 WIB.

The Head of Bajo Village, Sunhaji, in his statement to the press, confirmed the incident. "That's right, the fire was caused by an electric short circuit," Sunhaji replied.

The house belongs to a resident of Bajo, Kedungtuban District, RT 1 RW 1 named Nurhuda (28). The incident occurred when the owner of the house was working at around 10.15 WIB and the house was empty.

"There is a neighbor next door to Nurhuda's house, Sigit (36) who smells burning wires. After checking at his house there were no burnt cable connections," said the Kades Bajo.

Next, Sigit saw smoke coming through the roof of his house, so he went out to check the house of his neighbour, Nurhuda, to make sure it was coming from the smoke and smelling burning wires.

Arriving at Nurhuda's house, Sigit found a fire in Nurhuda's room and had spread to other rooms.

Spontaneously he asked residents to help extinguish the fire using makeshift tools and save items that could still be saved.

"Because the fire was too big and had spread and even scorched part of the bathroom of Nurhuda's neighbour, Sukahar (49) who was behind his house, also scorched Sigit's house, so the fire couldn't be put out by residents," explained the village head.

Sunhaji explained, at 11.00 WIB came the firefighting team from the Satpol PP of Randublatung, Cepu and Blora Districts. At 11.30 WIB, the fire was extinguished.
