INFOKU, BLORA – By the time this news was written, the water level in the Bengawan Solo watershed (DAS) was still stable.
It tended to go down yesterday afternoon, residents were advised to remain vigilant, especially in Cepu, Kedungtuban and Kradenan sub-districts.
This is because the sluice gate of the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir in Solo is still open.
A member of the Blora Agung Tri Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (TRC) quick reaction team explained that the water level on the TMA gauge board was stable and tended to decrease.
Yesterday afternoon it was recorded that it was 28.30 meters above sea level in Kradenan TMA and 22 meters above sea level in Cepu District.
"We are monitoring two TMAs, they are stable and tend to fall. But it is not certain that it will recede because upstream it is still on red alert," he said.

Tri explained, currently the status of the area is still on green alert. His party sent a team to periodically monitor the TMA at several points.
Because in the upstream it is still on red alert and currently the river water is already high. If it rains there will be a flood.
"If it rains, the possibility of water not being able to enter the river, the potential for flooding," he explained.
Information was collected yesterday (17/2) that Gajah Mungkur Reservoir was still open with a water discharge rate of 200 millimeters per second.
The number decreased from last Thursday (16/2) by 220 millimeters per second. Meanwhile, the elevation of the reservoir is 156 meters.

His party appealed to the public to be vigilant, especially for villages located on the banks of the river in three sub-districts. Namely Kradenan, Kedungtuban, and Cepu, besides the floods, there were also high currents.
