Pon market is open again, but specifically for Klithikan traders

INFOKU, BLORA – The impact of the spread of foot and mouth disease (PMK) has caused the Pon Market or Animal Market in Blora to temporarily close.

Not sure when it will reopen. This makes the food and beverage vendors in the market complain.

His income decreased because of the quiet. Traders took the initiative to open a clithic or non-animal market to revive the buying and selling ecosystem.

Head of the Department of Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (Dindagkop UKM) Kiswoyo said the market could now be opened for non-animal trade.

If it were possible to open it every day to revive the market, it would have been closed for more than a month. The opening of the Klithikan market can be a hallmark of Pon Market.

"The front is for the klithikan, the back is for the animal market if the virus has subsided," he said.

Until now, Kiswoyo has not been able to confirm when the animal market will open.

Sarni, one of the traders, said that when the pound market was closed, the income of some traders decreased dramatically. Before closing, he traded since morning.

When it was closed, he was desperate to sell with trading hours backwards during the day. He hopes that the opening of the front klithikan market will bring back the crowd that has been missing for some time.
