Since 2021 Students Study in Residents' Houses, Three Classrooms are Damaged

INFOKU, BLORA There are 3 classrooms at State Elementary School (SDN) 2 Sambongrejo, Sambong District, Blora, which cannot be used because they are still badly damaged.

Learning activities had to be moved to the homes of local residents.

With makeshift conditions, there are even residents' houses still with soil for study activities. Seeing his condition, the Blora Education Office (Disdik) immediately followed up on the improvement.

Sandy Tresna Hadi, Head of Facilities and Infrastructure at the Education Office, said that Rp. 390 million has been budgeted for the repair of three classrooms at SDN 2 Sambongrejo.

The repairs are sourced from a special allocation fund (DAK). Previously, the damage was known in early 2022. He claimed that he had surveyed the location after receiving a report.

"We checked. We will budget through the center with DAK 2023 through the 2022 proposal,'' he explained.

The SDN 2 Sambongrejo committee confirmed this last January. There is already a budget, his party will execute it after Eid.

Yasminingsih, one of the teachers, said that learning activities at residents' homes have been carried out since the end of 2021. Learning activities cover grades three, four and six (separate from other classes). There were 98 students recorded. 

"During the learning process at residents' homes, many students complained about the hot temperature. In fact, there are those whose house base is still dirt,''he complained.

He added, previously the ceiling of the classroom had collapsed during class hours and fortunately there were no casualties.  ( Endah IST )
