INFOKU, BLORA – Women's economic empowerment will target widows or women heads of households and vulnerable groups.
Empowerment targets commercial sex workers (PSK) and HIV/AIDS. This goal is to fulfill the family's economy.
"It's headed that way. We are trying to find targets for women's empowerment activities such as complexes. Also HIV/AIDS sufferers," said the Head of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (P3A) of Social Services Office of P3A Blora Amida Rahayu yesterday (18/1).
However, according to him, providing empowerment training to prostitutes is not easy.
They have experienced shortcuts to get money, even though it is not good in the eyes of society. Of course this is a concern in the future so that the economy can be helped.

"Sometimes it's easy. We are still trying to find targets like that,” he explained after recounting the incident where a widow with three children was killed in a hotel.
Amida admitted that currently she has mapped out the targets and areas for women's empowerment at eight points. However, for its execution, it needs coordination with a team chaired by the deputy regent.
"Later each training will be around 20 women, don't take many, so it's efficient," he said.

This was done to increase the economy of women to become the head of the family.
This is because economic factors affect life, especially when a husband has left and there are several children who need to be supported.
"We will try to even out (the empowerment program) the western, eastern and southern regions, especially those that are still productive," he said. (Endah/ IST )
