INFOKU, Cepu, BLORA – Three weeks before Christmas and New Year's Day (Nataru) 2022, train passengers (KA) are still stable at Cepu Station.
It is predicted that the increase in passengers will occur towards the third week of this month.
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Operational Area (Daop) Semarang as a whole has prepared 24 trains. Additional carriages are still planned.
"Nataru hasn't been served yet and there have been a lot of additional (previous) trains. If there are any more additions, we will inform you," said Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 4 Semarang Ixfan Hendri Wintoko yesterday (4/11).
Ixfan explained that there had not been any additional carriages in December. Because in November KAI Daop 4 Semarang has added 360,720 seats or an average of 20,040 seats per day.

These additional trains are available for trips to favorite routes such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung and Blitar.
"We provide additional trains during the Christmas and New Year transportation periods so that customers are more flexible in choosing departure schedules in advance," he explained.
Sales of regular train tickets during the Nataru 2023 holiday period are still widely available.
The number of tickets will still increase, because sales are still ongoing.
KAI estimates that ticket bookings will increase as the Christmas and New Year holidays approach.
"It is possible that the public is still waiting for the 2022 Christmas and New Year 2023 holiday policies, so that until now tickets for the Nataru period are still available," explained Ixfan.
In addition, the pattern of train customer communities in buying tickets from year to year is always tight or close to the departure date except during the Eid al-Fitr momentum.
