INFOKU, BLORA - A video of the police arresting a thief who fell asleep in a room at Tamanrejo State Elementary School (SDN), Tunjungan District, Blora Regency, Central Java, on Tuesday (1/11/2022), has gone viral on social media. In the video, a number of police officers can see the perpetrator being woken up and handcuffed.
"Yes, we received a report at around 06.15 WIB. There was a theft with a weight in Tamanrejo Elementary School," said Tunjungan Police Chief, Adjunct Police Commissioner (AKP) Soeparlan, to reporters.
From the results of the temporary examination, the perpetrator broke through the ceiling to enter the teacher's room.

After ruffling the room, the perpetrator admitted that he was confused about getting out because the door to the room was locked from the outside.
Finally, said Soeparlan, the perpetrator could only surrender and choose to sleep in that room.
“We have secured the person and we are interrogating them. And found that the ceiling in the room was broken down by that person, and the student's savings were missing or missing," he said.
