Police dismantle the grave of a child in Blora who was abused by his stepfather to death for an autopsy


INFOKU, BLORA - The Blora Resort Police (Polres) Polda Central Java (Central Java) dismantled the grave of a child who was abused by his stepfather to death.

The demolition was carried out at the Polaman cemetery complex, Sendangharjo Village, Blora District, on Tuesday (1/11/2022).

The head of the criminal investigation unit (Kasatreskrim) of the Blora Police, Adjunct Commissioner of Police (AKP) Supriyono, said the tomb was demolished to thoroughly investigate the alleged abuse case carried out by the suspect Hendro Irawan alias Encon to his stepdaughter to death.

"In the meantime, there are no obstacles whatsoever," he said when met by reporters at the location.

In carrying out the demolition of the tomb, his party also cooperated with the forensic team of the Central Java Police.

"According to the SOP (standard operating procedure) it is the Central Java Police Dokpol (police medicine) team that must carry out the autopsy," he said.

The demolition is also an order from the prosecutor's office so that there is a match between the suspect's statement and the crime he committed.

In addition, the process of dismantling the tomb is also to answer information that will later be carried out by the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) at any time.

"So we have to dismantle the tomb and carry out an autopsy, what we get or what we are aiming for is synchronization between the wound and what the suspect described. For later prosecution in court," he explained.

Although the autopsy was carried out more than a month after the boy's death, Supriyono admitted that his party could still carry out the process.

"For an autopsy, it is still possible, because if it was a blunt object impact, it still has a mark, because it goes straight to the bone," he explained.

In addition to conducting an autopsy, his party will also hold a reconstruction of cases of abuse that caused the victims to die.

Previously, it was reported that a man named Hendro Irawan alias Encon, had the heart to torture his 8-year-old stepdaughter with the initials GVR to death.

The incident occurred on 10 September 2022 at his house, which is in Tempelan Village, Blora District, Blora Regency.

Kasatreskrim Blora Police, Adjunct Commissioner of Police (AKP) Supriyono said that his party arrested the perpetrators on Friday, October 21, 2022. "The arrest was made at the perpetrator's house," said Supriyono when revealing the case at the Blora Police Headquarters, Monday (24/10/2022).

When the police conducted the interrogation, the perpetrator initially refused to admit his actions.

Then after being taken to the police station, the perpetrator finally admitted to his actions that had abused his stepson to death.

The police finally named the perpetrator as a suspect in cases of alleged child abuse and domestic violence.

The police also explained the reason the perpetrator had the heart to torture his stepdaughter to death

 "The perpetrator's motive for violence against his stepdaughter was that the suspect was emotional towards the victim, because the victim was given an allowance of IDR 10,000 by his uncle. But when asked by the perpetrator, the money had already been given to his friend. violence against her stepdaughter," he explained.

The victim, who is still in elementary school, received torture almost all over his body, from his face, cheeks, chest, to his back.

"Then what was even more fatal was that the perpetrator committed violence by grabbing the victim's hair and then throwing it and hitting a wall made of wood. Then the victim fell to the floor and hit the floor so she didn't move anymore," he explained.

"Then by the perpetrator, the victim was lifted into the room. Then the victim had vomited on the victim's clothes, just taken to the jewel hospital.

Because he was unable to (overcome) then he was brought back to the Soetijono Hospital, then initial medical treatment was carried out and the doctor was declared dead," he added.

To account for his actions, the perpetrators are subject to multiple articles. Among them are Article 76C in conjunction with Article 80 paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Then the suspect is also subject to Article 5a in conjunction with Article 44 paragraph 3 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence, which carries a maximum penalty of 15 years.
