INFOKU, SEMARANG - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo admitted that he did not know who installed the billboard with a picture of him with the words 'Ganjar Nurut' written on it. Ganjar asked for the billboard to be removed because it interfered with the view.
"I don't even understand, I was the one who posed for you (the journalist). Only then did I know that the photos were sent," said Ganjar after meeting representatives of workers at his official residence, Semarang, Friday (4/11/2022).
Ganjar admitted that he did not feel good if the billboard was installed without permission. While joking, Ganjar said his face would be an eyesore.
"I don't know who it was for. Later, if I look at my appearance (make my face look ugly), especially if I don't have permission, I just take it off, I don't like it," he said.
He also did not know the meaning of 'Party Officers Must Obey, I Agree' contained in the billboard. Ganjar again asked about the figure of the billboard installer.
"Yes, mulane kui sing gawe sopo. (Yes, that's why, for whom)" he said as he entered the house.
To note, the red billboards with the image of Ganjar were installed at several points in Semarang, including the fork in Jalan Erlangga, Gombel Lama and Gombel Baru. On the billboard at the top is the PDI-P logo.
