– Forecast from the National Meteorological Agency to November Extreme weather will persist.
There are seven sub-districts that are most prone to disasters which are the main concern. Disaster mitigation is needed considering that this year there have been 93 disasters.
The Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Blora Sri Widjanarsih explained that he had coordinated to anticipate the impact of extreme weather until next November.
"We have held a coordination meeting today (yesterday) to anticipate the impact of extreme weather in the region. If the peak is estimated to be in early January next year," he explained yesterday (11/10)
Widjanarsih explained that all areas were the object of attention from the impact of extreme weather. However, seven sub-districts are of concern, namely Todanan, Kunduran, Randublatung, Kradenan, Sambong, Cepu, and Kedungtuban sub-districts.
According to data from his office, this year there were 93 disasters from extreme weather including 44 strong winds, 31 floods, and landslides at 18 points. He revealed that the latest reports of strong winds hit the houses of residents in Jati and Kedungtuban sub-districts. "Because of strong winds, the roofs of people's houses are missing," he explained.

Widjanasih appealed to residents to remain vigilant everywhere. Natural disasters cannot be predicted accurately. Regarding mitigation, his party claimed to have coordinated with the sub-district head and other stakeholders.
"We have issued a circular (SE) to the sub-district head to deal with extreme weather. We prepared some equipment," he explained.

Supriyanto, one of the motor rickshaw owners admitted that the current rainy season has not stopped his steps in transporting passengers. He provided a hood on his rickshaw and a plastic cover in front of the rickshaw to keep the rain from entering if it was loading passengers.
