For 90 Days, Blora Regency Government Gives Fuel Subsidy To Public Transport Actors

 


INFOKU, BLORA  - The Blora Regency Government provides subsidies to public transport operators to reduce the impact of inflation in the public transportation sector. 

Namely in the form of subsidized fuel oil (BBM) assistance to basic food assistance.

The socialization of the provision of subsidies for the public transportation sector was carried out on Monday (10/10/2022) in the Regional Secretariat Meeting room, which was attended by public transport actors, Organda, to the gas station.

Symbolically, the Secretary of Blora, Komang G Irawadi, put a sticker on public transportation that received a fuel subsidy

During the socialization, he gave directions to the Regional Secretary of Blora Regency Komang Gede Irawadi, representing the Regent of Blora H. Arief Rohman, along with representatives of Forkopimda, and the Head of the Blora Dinrumkimhub.

"The central government asks the regions to allocate mandatory spending in the context of handling inflation as a result of the increase in fuel prices, we socialize this activity, we provide fuel subsidies and basic necessities to the perpetrators of this public transportation sector," explained Komang Secretary.

Urban & Rural Transport

The plan is that the fuel subsidy sourced from the Blora Regency APBD in 2022 will target public transportation, especially passenger transportation that serves city transportation and rural transportation operating in Blora Regency.

Food assistance will also be provided to drivers of passenger transport, freight transport, to online motorcycle taxi drivers and bases.

According to the Regional Secretary, the government has prepared a budget for handling the impact of inflation in Blora Regency, which is then allocated to various sectors such as transportation, MSMEs, and so on. So that the impact of inflation in Blora Regency can be slightly minimized.

Given the importance of the public transportation sector, it is hoped that with the subsidies provided, public transport actors can continue to provide services to the community.

He hopes that this will be useful and lighten the burden on the perpetrators of this transport. 

"We hope that you will continue to provide services to the community," said Komang Gede Irawadi.

5 Liters per Day

Meanwhile, the Head of Dinrumkimhub, Pitoyo Trusingtyas Sarodjo, explained that the provision of fuel subsidies in the form of diesel and pertalite to public transport operators was carried out with a quota of five liters per day for the next 90 days.

This fuel subsidy is given five liters per day, for 90 days, for distribution adjusted to each corridor later distributed once a week.

"There are 4 gas stations that are invited to work together, including in Ngawen, Jepon, Randublatung, and Sidomakmur (Blora)," explained Pitoyo.

The assumption is that the fuel subsidy will be given to 70 units of diesel type with 63 units of vehicles and pertalite type with seven units of vehicles.

"Diesel fuel type for rural transportation and Pertalite type fuel for urban transportation," added the Head of Dinrumkimhub. Pitoyo.

He revealed that later the perpetrators of public transportation who have been recorded will be given vouchers that can be exchanged for purchasing fuel at a number of gas stations that have been invited to cooperate.

“Drivers who later receive this subsidy will also receive vouchers, which can be exchanged when refueling.

The vehicles used will also be marked with a special sticker from us," he added.

It was also stated that later the drivers of public transportation when refueling were also required to show the STNK with a yellow base plate color that is still valid and has a route.

One of the micro bus drivers from Samin Trans, Aji, said that the existence of a fuel subsidy from the government could benefit the drivers.

"We are grateful, this assistance lightens our burden, my vehicle is a yellow bus with diesel fuel, usually once a day PP runs out 10 liters, this is very helpful," said Aji when he was met after receiving the socialization.

It is said that the increase in fuel prices also affects the tariff adjustment.

However, the rate charged is adjusted to the type of passenger and the fare increase is around Rp. 2,000. But for students there is no increase in rates.

After the socialization event, the Regional Secretary of Blora together with the Head of Dinrumkimhub and Forkopimda Blora symbolically handed over vouchers, food assistance to drivers, as well as placing special sign stickers on transportation vehicles. (Endah/ IST )
