INFOKU, BLORA – The batik fashion exhibition has triggered the rise of the fashion industry in Blora.
The fashion parade is usually held on stage, but this time using a paved road as the floor, namely Jalan Alon-alon Blora in the morning.
With the title Blora Street Fashion Week, dozens of exhibits displayed the fashion works of Blora craftsmen and designers from Friday (30/9) to Sunday (2/9).
Some of the exhibits were seen shrewdly swaying on the streets of Blora square.
In addition to the models brought by each designer, several finalists from the tourism ambassadors also had the opportunity to wear batik suits from the various designers.
Fashion Week at the Blora Square was held by the Blora Regency Government through the Department of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism (Dinporabudpar) together with the Blora Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda).
For three days, various activities were held at the celebration of the National Batik Day in Blora Regency.
Such as fashion shows forkopimda with their respective partners, fashion exhibitions, culinary bazaars, as well as fashion shows by SMK students majoring in Fashion Design in Blora.
“On behalf of the Regent, I would like to express my appreciation for the holding of Blora Fashion Week. This is the starting point for the revival of fashion, especially Batik in Blora Regency," said Deputy Regent of Blora Tri Yuli Setyowati.
According to him, Blora Street Fashion Week 2022 shows that Blora has a lot of potential that can still be developed. Such as batik, fashion designers, culinary and others.
The woman who is familiarly called Mbak Etik also invites Blora people to believe that batik craftsmen and Blora MSMEs are capable and show the wider community that Blora Mandiri MSMEs, Blora MSMEs are advancing.
"Let's show that Blora has extraordinary potential for batik, designers, culinary and others. Through this activity, hopefully in the future MSMEs in Blora can go international," he hoped.
This event also introduces Blora batik products to the people of Blora.
That way, it is hoped that the craftsmen and designers will be more enthusiastic to develop their respective products.

In addition, this agenda is also a means of entertainment for the people of Blora with the beautiful appearance of Blora batiks demonstrated by the professional model.
