INFOKU, BLORA – The existence of the Cumleng Indah (CI) karaoke entertainment venue was met with opposition from local residents.
The nightclub was considered unsettling. So a group of mothers demanded that it be closed immediately by demonstrating in front of the Todanan sub-district office on Thursday (29/9).
They were disturbed by the activities carried out at the entertainment venues that night.
During the action, they carried several banner attributes bearing the tone of rejection.
Like destroying CI, CI is a place of sin, eliminating CI for destroying our grandchildren, because my husband's CI was stolen by LC, and many more.
"We only have one demand, close CI," said Indri, one of the protesters.
At the demonstration, they were also seen chanting salawat several times.
The demonstration was closely guarded by a joint team from the National Police, TNI and Satpol PP.
The protesters felt relieved after receiving directions from the Head of Blora Satpol PP, Hendi Purnomo.
He said that the existence of CI karaoke was not licensed or illegal.
Previously, his party had given a warning letter to the CI manager.
However, the CI karaoke manager did not heed the warning letter from the Blora PP Satpol.
Warnings have been given twice and socialization has been carried out as well.
"There is no permit yet, some time ago we issued warning letters twice," said Hendi.
So, if the last warning is still ignored, his party will forcefully close one of the entertainment venues located in the middle of the rice fields of the Todanan area.
"Because we don't pay attention, we will immediately close it," he continued.
Until now, the Cumleng Indah karaoke entertainment has not yet obtained any license.
The district government will help if the manager immediately takes care of a clear business license. (Endah/ IST )
