"Actually, absorption is low because some physical activities (road construction projects) are indeed budget disbursements at the end of the year," said Head of the Regional Financial Revenue Management Agency (BPPKAD) Slamet Pamuji in a statement to the press yesterday (27/9).
According to Mumuk, who is familiar with the head of BPPKAD, several regional apparatus organizations (OPD) are optimistic that they will absorb the maximum by the end of the year.

"Physical things need acceleration, even though during the POK (operational control activities) coordination meeting, friends are optimistic that all will be absorbed by the end of the year," said Mumuk, his nickname.
Mumuk gave an example of the low absorption, such as the physical construction of roads from loan funds from the Central Java Bank, because work has just started.
Most partners disburse a 20 percent down payment, while the rest is disbursed in the last month of this year.
“Actually, if there is an acceleration of the auction contract at the beginning of the year, it can go according to plan. This is a road construction process from a regional loan, because the budget value is large for physical development," he explained.
The low absorption, according to Mumuk, must be addressed by making steps so that absorption is greater.
Therefore, his party invites related parties to immediately accelerate the absorption of the budget.
"Especially highlighting the problem of absorption in DAK (special allocation funds), because in this physical DAK only about 22 percent must be boosted again," he said.
The absorption is still low, the district government held a coordination meeting (coordination meeting) to control the operation of activities some time ago. He hopes that there will be coordination, all work will be completed according to the target and plans will be drawn up.
