The COVID-19 Red Zone Hits Blora City District Again

 


INFOKU, BLORA -Blora City District, Blora Regency, Central Java, in early March 2022, entered the high risk zone (red zone) for the spread of COVID-19.

This is based on the zoning map of the spread of COVID-19 per sub-district in Blora Regency, Tuesday (1/3/2022).

The sub-districts of Jati, Randublatung, Cepu, Jepon, Ngawen, Tunjungan and Bogorejo are in the moderate risk zone (orange).

Other sub-districts, namely Todanan, Japah, Kunduran, Banjarejo, Kradenan, Kedungtuban, Sambong and Jiken are included in the low risk zone (yellow zone).

At the level of Central Java Province, Blora Regency is included in the orange zone (low risk).

In response to this, the Head of the Blora Health Service, Edi Widayat, asked the public to be more disciplined and obey health protocols and not hesitate to take vaccinations.  

"Everyone, once again we remind you not to ignore it. Stay obedient to the COVID-19 health protocol and for those who haven't, get vaccinated immediately. Don't be afraid because vaccines can form herd immunity," said Edi Widayat, Tuesday (1/3/2022).

It was explained that the red zone in Blora District was due to the high number of cases and deaths. "That's because there are high cases and there are deaths," he said.

Based on the monitoring of COVID-19 data, Tuesday (1/3/2022), the number of positive COVID-19 cases was 14,028.   Positive COVID-19 was treated at 55 Hospital and 342 positive COVID-19 self-isolation. Then, 12,625 recovered, 1,006 died and 85,278 swab examinations were carried out.

He explained that various ways have been taken by the Blora Regency Government so that people want to participate in vaccination.

One of them is the Blora Health Service in collaboration with a Yamaha motorcycle dealer to provide a prize of one Yahama Gear 125 motorcycle to attract people in the local area to immediately take part in the first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccination. In addition to motorcycles, other attractive prizes are also prepared.

"Our vaccination program with prizes will start Monday, February 21, 2022, until March 5, 2022," he explained.

Meanwhile, based on the Covid-19 vaccination update on Tuesday (1/3/2022), the total vaccination dose I was 640,662, dose II was 509,568 and dose III was 31,018. This number targets teenagers, the general public, health workers, the public, the elderly and pregnant women with a target of 715,441. (Endah/ IST )
