INFOKU, BLORA -Hundreds of liters of liquor (liquor) on Jalan Doplang-Randublatung, Jati District, Blora were successfully thwarted by the police on Friday (18/3).
The plan is to send hundreds of liters of this type of arak ready for circulation to Tuban, East Java.
From media information, the Head of Jati Police, AKP Eko Adi Pramono, confirmed the news.
The three are AR (37), LT (50) and LE (28) residents of Semanding District, Tuban Regency, East Java.
Eko added that the incident started with a strong smell from vehicles passing on Jalan Doplang-Randublatung. From there, officers then stopped the vehicle.
After being suspicious, the officers conducted an inspection of the vehicle. Then they found 30 jerry cans filled with Javanese liquor, ready to be distributed.

“There were 30 jerry cans found in the car. A total of approximately 900 liters of alcoholic beverages of the type of arak that are loaded on minivan type vehicles," he said.
According to the suspects, the wine was taken from the Grobogan area to be sent to the Tuban area, East Java. "The plan is to distribute it to the Tuban area, East Java," he said.
He added that they are still investigating the suspect's statement.
Considering that the suspect is threatened with Article 29 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 9 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of Blora Regency Regional Regulation number 8 of 2017 concerning Amendments to Blora Regency Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2015 concerning Control and Supervision of Alcoholic Beverages.
