INFOKU, BLORA -Aceh Governor H. Nova Iriansyah along with his wife and several SKPD Heads made a pilgrimage to the Pocut Meurah Intan Grave at the Tegalsari family grave, Temurejo Village, Blora District, Blora, Thursday (17/3/2022).
Accompanied by the Regent of Blora Arief Rohman , the atmosphere at the location of Pocut Meurah Intan's grave was solemn.
Chants of prayers are said with the surrounding community in the cemetery area. Sitting in a chair under a shady juwet and frangipani tree, the two of them and their entourage seemed solemn to pray for the late Pocut Meurah Intan.
After the prayer together, it was followed by a flower-laying procession by the Governor of Nova Iriansyah with the Regent Arief Rohman. Also following the sowing of flowers, the governor's wife, and the regent's wife.

Governor Nova, in his brief remarks expressed his gratitude and gratitude to the Regency Government and the people of Blora who had participated in guarding and caring for the Pocut Meurah Intan grave.
"Alhamdulillah, we are finally able to visit Pocut Meurah Intan's Tomb. A hero from Aceh who now does not only belong to Aceh but belongs to Indonesia, and belongs to the people of Blora. Thank you for guarding and caring for his grave," said Governor Nova.
His party also said that the Aceh Provincial Government was ready to assist in the restoration or arrangement of the Pocut Meurah Intan Tomb area in Blora Regency.
"As a form of our respect, the Aceh Provincial Government in the future will help restore the Pocut Meurah Intan tomb. We will try to make the budget in the Revised Regional Budget, if in Aceh it is called APBA (Aceh Revenue and Expenditure Budget)," said Governor Nova.
When asked about the amount of his budget at the media doorstop, the governor, who is tall, could not say yet.
"We can't say the nominal, we'll see the planning first, what the needs are. Synchronized with the planning of the Blora Regency Government, we will synergize it. But specifically for today's visit I will hand over Rp20 million for the guards and caretakers of the tomb first. Mr. Regent to be escorted," continued Governor Nova.
With the restoration, he hopes that the Pocut Meurah Intan tomb can become a pilgrimage tour and generate economic growth for the surrounding community.
"We want the existence of Pocut's grave to be able to provide benefits to the people of Blora. In addition, we will also propose Pocut Meurah Intan so that it can be designated as a national hero by the central government. Insha Allah hopefully it will be granted in November, of course there will be a team to guard it," concluded Governor of Nova.
Meanwhile, Regent H. Arief Rohman, stated that currently the entrance to the tomb complex is also being arranged by installing paving so that pilgrims can be more comfortable.
"The Blora Regency Government is also ready to synergize with the Aceh Provincial Government to organize the Pocut Meurah Intan Tomb area. Thank you, Mr. Governor for the response, we are also ready to participate in proposing him to become a national hero. Although his struggle was carried out in Aceh, he was still in exile in Blora until he died too behave well to the community. We are ready to realize this common goal," said Regent Arief.
After the pilgrimage, Governor Nova and Regent Arief continued their trip to PEM Akamigas Cepu to fill a public lecture.
