INFOKU, BLORA -Small and medium micro-enterprises in the area of Japanrejo Village, Blora District, were visited by KKN students at the University of PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS), Friday (11/2/2022).
"Many businesses have advanced in sales and production with today's technological advances," said Didik Warsono, one of the UPGRIS KKN students in the village of Japanrejo.
He said, village MSMEs have a strategic role in economic development on a national scale.
"In addition to urban areas, rural MSMEs are also seen as having good prospects in the future for economic recovery," he said.
In fact, he said, the government has always encouraged MSMEs in rural areas to be able to progress and be different from other types of businesses in the international arena.

MSMEs that are run in rural areas have various benefits, especially for the national economy.
Some of them can contribute to the value of GDP (Gross Domestic Product), even in Indonesia, rural MSMEs are one of the biggest contributors.
He assessed that village MSMEs could also be an effective solution in overcoming economic problems in the small to medium class.
"Not only that, MSMEs in the village are also able to reduce unemployment by opening new jobs," he explained.
Meanwhile, another UPGRIS KKN student, Adilya Wahyu Ningtyas, revealed that the government always supports village MSMEs by conducting MSME development programs.

"The aim of the program is that the actors can develop skills in entrepreneurship and can have the ability to run small and medium businesses," he said.
The program also trains entrepreneurs to be able to apply entrepreneurial skills, identify and select business projects and can prepare business plans that can be presented to financial institutions.
"By being visited by UPGRIS KKN students, they are more helpful, gain insight into expanding the marketing of the products we have produced," said Indah, a walang goreng businessman, a resident of Japanrejo Village. (Endah/ IST )
