INFOKU, BLORA - Soon the Ngloram Airport, which is located in Ngloram Village, Cepu District, Blora Regency, Central Java, will be further expanded.
The head of Ngloram Airport, Abdul Rozzaq, said that his party received an expansion budget of Rp. 25 billion from the 2022 National Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).
The budget is used for land acquisition for residents of about 3.6 hectares.
"The budget source from the Ministry of Transportation is the DIPA budget for the Dewadaru Karimunjawa UPBU Office for the 2022 budget year," Rozzaq said to the press Thursday (17/2/2022).
"God willing, the target is that much, so Rp 25 billion is not round, it includes taxes and other costs," he added.

Rozzaq said the reason for expanding Ngloram Airport was because the boundary between the airport and the passenger terminal was quite close, so land acquisition around the airport was necessary.
"Essentially it is used to fulfill flight safety because currently the distance between residents' land or the airport fence to the west of the passenger terminal and the plane's parking lot is only about 9 meters," he explained.

In addition, the land can also be used for other purposes.
"Yes, in the future, it can be used for the construction of office facilities to the west of the terminal. For now, that's the main target," he said.
The Rp 25 billion budget will be used in April. This is because the majority of residents whose land has been affected by the airport expansion have also supported this activity.
"Yesterday, the socialization has started, God willing, if everything goes smoothly in April, you can pay. Thank God, all the residents support," he said.
Rozzaq also said that the expansion of Ngloram Airport needs to be done because the enthusiasm of the community to Ngloram Airport is increasing. "Yesterday the Ngloram-Halim route had good occupancy," he said. (Endah/ IST )
