In Dukuh Pilang, Nglanjuk Village, Cepu District, now there is the Tiban Market "Pinggir Sawah". Designed with a natural feel. This market, which is located in the middle of rice fields, is the new prima donna in Blora City.
While enjoying breakfast with a panoramic view of tens of hectares of rice plants, it becomes an attraction in itself.
“Every week there are almost thousands of visitors. I started this market in October 2021. By utilizing the farm road on the crooked land of the village secretary. It's open from 6 am to 9 am," said Didik Kusumayanto, a pioneer of the Tiban Pinggir Sawah Market.
Currently, there are 50 traders at the Tiban Pinggir Sawah Market. The turnover per week is IDR 30 million. A variety of food and drink menus are provided there.
Starting from Jendil, typical rural vegetables, fried foods, various cakes and kothok coffee are served.
The price is also friendly , from Rp. 3,000 to Rp. 5,000 for pecel. Depends on the side dish.
“Visitors can also ride horses at a rate of Rp. 5,000 to Rp. 15,000. For free selfies," said Didik who is also the Secretary of Nglanjuk Village.
For visitors, there is no need to worry about parking spaces. Because the manager provides a motorbike parking space at a rate of IDR 2,000 for motorbikes and IDR 5,000 for cars.
“We are cooperating with youth and PKK to manage this market. Alhamdulillah, every week the turnover can reach Rp. 30 million, "he said.
Traders who sell at the Tiban Pinggir Sawah Market are prioritized for residents who have an ID card from Nglanjuk Village. For traders from outside the village, they can only deposit their merchandise.
"We still have 80 meters of land and we will develop it. The plan is to add a gazebo on the edge of the rice field," said Didik Kusumayanto.
Tiwi, a visitor from Klagen Village, Kedungtuban District, said that she and her children had come to the Tiban Pinggir Sawah Market three times.
"The atmosphere is good and the food prices are friendly," said Tiwi while enjoying the lontong pecel.
Candra Syah, one of the traders at the Tiban Pinggir Sawah Market, revealed that every Sunday he can get a turnover of hundreds of millions of rupiah.
However, he hopes that the bank, which has supported this activity, will help with online marketing.
"The result is pretty good. And every Sunday the merchandise is always sold out. We hope that banks can help with online marketing,” he said.
Head of Cepu Sub-district, Bambang Soegiyatno, supports the existence of the Tiban market in Cepu sub-district because it can improve the people's economy.
“There are various small and medium businesses that are accommodated. Besides culinary, there are also souvenirs for sale. We hope that apart from direct selling independently, traders can also sell online.
