INFOKU, Cepu, BLORA -The Traffic Unit (Satlantas) of the Blora Police of the Central Java Police secured hundreds of motorcycles with Brong exhaust during a raid in the Cepu sub-district, Friday (21/1/2022), night.
The raid was carried out to follow up on reports from residents regarding the use of Brong exhaust which was troubling and disturbed the comfort of the residents, as well as to realize the Central Java Police of Zero Brong exhaust.
Head of Traffic, AKP Edi Sukamto, said that the prosecution for violations of Brong exhaust was carried out firmly but still humanely.
From the results of the investigation, within a week his party secured as many as 194 motorbikes in the Blora Regency area.
"Others have paid a ticket fine and replaced the exhaust, while the remaining 38 units. The Brong exhaust ticketed will be destroyed by the owner himself. This is to reduce the public's negative perception of us," said AKP Edi Sukamto.
As for the prosecution in the Cepu area, AKP Edi explained that the number of violations (tickets) was 223.
The details are evidence of 118 units of Brong motorcycle exhaust. The ticket for the fatality of traffic accident victims includes helmets, as many as 105.
"We will also take action against cars with Brong exhaust. Let's support Blora zero Brong exhaust," he said.
Furthermore, the former Kasat Samapta of the Klaten Resort Police said that the crackdown on the Brong exhaust received positive support from the residents.
This is evidenced by the entry of messages via WA, telephone or incoming messages to the social media account of the Blora Police Traffic Unit.
"Alhamdulillah, the response from the residents is quite good. Because the use of the Brong exhaust is noisy and very disturbing to the residents," said the Head of Traffic.
Rudi, a resident of the Cepu sub-district, said that he was happy with the prosecution of the Brong exhaust because recently the Brong exhaust has really disturbed the residents.
"Of course, we residents always agree with the action taken. Hopefully, this action must be carried out regularly. So that the use of Brong exhaust can continue to be suppressed," said Rudi. ( Endah/POL )
