INFOKU, Cepu, BLORA -Blora Regent H. Arief Rohman paid a working visit to the Oil and Gas Human Resources Development Center (PPSDM) office, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, in Cepu District, Monday (10/1/2022).
His arrival was directly received by the Head of PPSDM Migas, Waskito Tunggul Nusanto, in his office.
The two of them discussed the potential development of oil and gas human resources in Blora Regency, both in terms of formal education and community training.
After the discussion, the two moved to the main hall of PPSDM Migas to open the Community Assistance Program Training.
Arief Rohman, welcomed the training activities for the community which are carried out by PPSDM Migas regularly every year with participants from various regions throughout Indonesia.
"Moreover, there is also PEM Akamigas and an old oil well field that is ready to become a location for Indonesian oil and gas education," said the Regent.
The Regent hopes that in the future the quota for free training for the community can continue to be increased so that skilled oil and gas human resources can continue to grow and be channeled to support the continuity of the regional oil and gas industry.
There are at least 3 trainings that will be carried out on January 10, 2022 by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources at PPSDM Migas Cepu.

Among them are training in the operation of lifting and transporting aircraft and load-binding at the level of a load-bearer.
Then operator-level occupational safety and health training, as well as forklift operator-level lifting and lifting operations training.
While the opening was carried out by the Head of PPSDM Migas by draping a participant identification card witnessed by the Regent H. Arief Rohman.
The participants are young people from all over Indonesia whose regions have oil and gas potential.
Starting from Blora, Tuban, Bojonegoro, Cilacap, Indramayu, Natuna, Sorong, Seram Bagian Barat, Sumenep, Bengkalis, Kampar, Dumai, Aceh Tamiyang, Lhoksumawe, Jabung Tanjung Barat, Rokan Hilir, Prabumulih, Kota Balikpapan, Tarakan, Tabalong, Kepulauan Aru and Bintuni Bay.
The Head of PPSDM Migas, W Tunggul Nusanto, said that the Training Assistance Training Program for the Community was held based on the DIPA PPSDM Migas for the 2022 Fiscal Year with the Activity Implementation number number 02/OPK/BPMPP/2022.

"For Occupational Health and Safety Operator Training, after participating in the training, participants are expected to be able to understand basic K3 rules and regulations, be able to choose and use fire extinguishing equipment properly and correctly and be able to work together with teams in fire fighting efforts," he said.
Meanwhile, the Rigger Unit Lifting Plane Operator training provides training participants with the basic practical theory of load binding on lifting aircraft operations in the oil and gas industry in order to fulfill work competence as a rigger.
"The third is the Forklift Unit Lifting Aircraft Operator training, it is hoped that after participating in this training participants are expected to be able to understand the operation of Forklift units in oil and gas industry activities in accordance with standard operating procedures in order to fulfill work competencies as Forklift Unit Aircraft Operators," he continued.
According to him, the training will be held from January 10 to 28, 2022, followed by a certification exam from January 31 to February 2 2022 at PPSDM Migas.
“We hope that all participants can follow it well and can pass all of them. Our message is to obey the health protocols. During the training, all participants live in dormitories, and we will take the PCR test so that we are all safe," he explained. (Setyorini/KOM)
