INFOKU, BLORA –It was quite an interesting sight when the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Monitoring State Finances (PKN) Blora, Central Java together with dozens of masses held a demonstration at the Blora District Attorney's Office (Kejari), Tuesday (4/1/2022).
Dozens of banners that were unfurled by mass demonstrations to stop the process of selecting village officials (Perades) were lined with one banner that was spread by a resident. The banner basically asks that the selection for filling in village officials is continued.
The presenter of the 'rival' banner was a woman named Endah Kusumawati, a resident of Ngawen Subdistrict, Ngawen Subdistrict, Blora Regency.
Endah admitted that raising the banner in the midst of the protest against the Perades was carried out on her own initiative with the intention that Blora would not be noisy.
"Honestly, I don't like people who are shouting all of a sudden asking to cancel (Perades, ed). For me to cancel it is not easy. If there is a violation, just report it to APH (Law Enforcement Apparatus). "said Endah.
However, it only took a few moments for the banner to read, 'Continue Filling in Village Apparatus in Blora Regency, Reject Irresponsible Issues!! The people of Blora Cinta Damai' were spread out, the authorities asked Endah not to unfurl the banner. ( Bayu/ IST )
