INFOKU -Most of the people of Indonesia and even the world may only know that Borobudur Temple is a historical building with a Buddhist pattern.
However, recently there was news that stated that Borobudur Temple was a relic of one of the prophets believed by Muslims, namely Prophet Sulaiman AS.
Based on what is written in the Qur'an, Prophet Sulaiman AS is one of dozens of prophets sent by Allah and is given the privilege of being able to subdue all of Allah's creatures, including the wind, birds and jinn who are subject to his authority by Allah's permission.
Citing Republika, in a book by KH Fahmi Basya entitled Islamic Mathematics 3, there are a number of evidences presented and the reasons behind the theory that Borobudur Temple is a legacy of Prophet Sulaiman AS.

The story of Prophet Solomon talking to birds and animals. (Surat An-Naml [27]: 20-22). It is said that the reliefs are also in the temple which is located in the province of Central Java.

The name of Prophet Sulaiman is said to indicate the name of the Javanese.
The proof is that the prefix 'su' is a Javanese name. Well, Prophet Sulaiman is the only prophet and apostle whose name starts with 'Su'.
Prophet Solomon's golden letter to the Queen of Sheba
Sulaiman managed to send a letter to the Queen of Sheba through the Hud-hud bird. "Go with my letter." (QS An-Naml [27]: 28).
In his view, the letter was written on a gold plate as a form of Prophet Solomon's wealth. He added that the letter was found in a pond at Ratu Boko Temple.
About Building Stay A Little
Lastly is the question of the few buildings that are left (Sidrin qalil), see Surah Saba [34] 16). The building that is left is the area of Ratu Boko Temple.

The bitter fruit and the punishment of God
About the story of the bitter 'maja' fruit. When the great flood (Sail al-Arim) befell the region of Saba, the trees around it became bitter as a punishment from Allah to those who denied His revelations.
"But they turned away so We brought to them a great flood[1236] and We replaced their two gardens with two gardens overgrown (trees) bearing bitter fruit, an Atsl tree and a few Sidr trees." (Surat Saba [34]: 16).
