INFOKU, BLORA - Theformer chairman of the Gerindra Branch Executive Board (DPC) Blora Setiyadji Setyawidjaja was reported by the Gerindra Regional Leadership Council (DPD) Central Java. He is suspected of violating the Health Quarantine Act.
The basis for the report, starting with Setiyadji's summons to the party's honorary court, was related to allegations of disciplinary violations. When summoned on June 25, the person concerned could not attend on the grounds that he had to undergo self-isolation, because he was positive for Covid-19.
However, after being investigated, the DPD said that between June 14 and 23 the person concerned attended a working visit to two regions in East Java.
Meanwhile, the results of the PCR test on Setiyadji on June 18 at one of the hospitals stated that the person concerned was indeed positive for Covid-19
"As a public official, you should set a good example and not harm others," said Sriyanto Saputro, secretary of the Central Java Gerindra DPD.

Responding to this lawsuit, Farid Rudihantoro as Setiadji's attorney said that his party had just read the news related to the Central Java Gerindra DPD report. However, until yesterday there had been no official call for the next process.
Regarding this issue, he continued, if there is a follow-up, his party will comply with the legal process. It has also prepared materials for it.
"I don't know if the accusation is true or not. We still respect the legal process. I will not be absent (from the call)," he told the media yesterday.
It was previously reported that Setiadji had been fired from the Gerindra Party because he was deemed not to have complied with the party's rules. Furthermore, he took legal action by suing the DPP Gerindra. The lawsuit was filed with the South Jakarta District Court (PN). (Endah)
