INFOKU, BLORA –After waiting for some time regarding the laboratory test results for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) menu from the Bogowanti Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) which is suspected of being related to the student poisoning case, it has finally come out.
The results of the inspection by the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) have been received by the Blora Health Service (Dinkes).
Blora Health Office Head Edi Widayat stated that his office only received the laboratory test results yesterday morning (August 10th). Therefore, the results are not yet immediately conclusive.
"Just came in at 08.40," he said to the press.
Edi explained that the BPOM's inspection results still needed to be analyzed further. He had asked the relevant team to carefully review all laboratory test results before drawing any conclusions.
"I just ordered the analysis department to analyze it first," he said.
The case began when 19 students from Sendangrejo State Elementary School experienced complaints after eating the MBG menu on Tuesday (21/7).
The students were then taken to the Ngawen Community Health Center for treatment.

Several students experienced vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, and dizziness. Some required treatment at the community health center.
The MBG menu consumed at that time consisted of chocolate milk cartons, whole eggs, mixed nuts, tempeh, grapes, and rice.
Head of the Sub-Coordinator for Environmental Health, Occupational Health, and Sports at the Blora Health Office, Tutik Rahayu, said in a press statement that her office immediately conducted a check at the Bogowanti SPPG after the case emerged.
"We check the warehouse, the flow of goods receipt, goods in and out, and even the stock," he explained.
Furthermore, officers also inspected the placement of food ingredients at the SPPG. Food samples were also taken for inspection.
According to Tutik, the Health Office had previously taken samples and conducted incubation to determine the possibility of bacteria in the food consumed by the students.
However, the investigation then involved the BPOM (Indonesian Food and Drug Authority). The agency conducted laboratory tests on samples of the MBG menu.
"Because BPOM has more authority regarding this inspection, we are waiting for the results," he emphasized.

The laboratory results are now in the hands of the Blora Health Office. The analysis will serve as a basis for determining whether there are any signs of contamination in the MBG menu consumed by the students. (Endah/ IST )
