INFOKU, BLORA – The Blora Oil and Gas Energy Cooperative (BME) claimed around Rp. 1.4 billion to cover payments for people's oil revenues from the Plantungan Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes), Blora District.
BME Chairman Sutrisno said in a press statement that the demand for payment came from BUMDes Plantungan, because the miners needed money for their daily needs.
Therefore, BME took the initiative to use cooperative funds to pay in advance for the oil production that had been sent to Pertamina.
"From the May 11th shipment until the end of the month, and even now, Pertamina hasn't paid for May. Because miners need money, BME is covering the payments as agreed with the BUMDes," he said.
The payment of Rp 1.4 billion was made about two weeks ago through a mechanism agreed upon by the cooperative management.
Sutrisno also dismissed the issue of the cooperative cutting oil sales proceeds.
He emphasized that all payments from Pertamina would be communicated transparently, including details of the tax obligations that must be paid.
