INFOKU, BLORA -Many complaints from the public regarding the free nutritious meal (MBG) menu still frequently arise.
The latest complaint about the MBG menu at one of the Randublatung SPPGs went viral on the TikTok account @!Nesss_.
There is a menu that is not suitable for consumption and is far from the specified budget .
In the post, the account owner expressed his frustration with the menu, claiming it was nutritionally inadequate and out of budget.
"Oh my God, how come this is happening? This isn't free; it's using the education budget , and yet, we get something like this," said the video uploader.
The Head of the Blora MBG Task Force , Sri Setyorini, asked the MBG kitchen management to immediately improve the quality of the food served to beneficiaries.
According to him, the MBG program is a strategic step to improve children's nutritional needs, as well as the quality of human resources.
Therefore, managers of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) are asked not only to focus on food distribution, but also to pay attention to menu quality and presentation suitability.

"The team on the ground has worked hard, from cooking to serving. But the quality of the menu and the suitability of the dishes must still be considered," he said.
He also encouraged SPPG managers to emulate the MBG kitchen, which already provides good presentation, and to utilize local food products around the operational area.
Meanwhile, Head of the Blora Regional Health Office, Edi Widayat, said the outreach aimed to ensure that all MBG program implementers had a common understanding of the latest regulations issued by the central government.
"This regulation serves as a guideline for the implementation of MBG, from planning, nutritional standards, food safety to monitoring program implementation," he said.

Edi added that with a shared understanding of the regulations, it is hoped that the implementation of MBG in the regions will run more smoothly and minimize various public complaints. (Endah/ IST )
