INFOKU, BLORA –From the data obtained, it turns out that the housing allowance budget for 45 members of the Blora Regional People's Representative Council ( DPRD ) has increased .
The increase in housing allowances is regulated in Blora Regent Regulation (Perbup) Number 2 of 2024 concerning the Third Amendment to Regent Regulation Number 46 of 2017 concerning Housing Allowances for Leaders and/or Members of the Blora Regency Regional People's Representative Council.
Blora Regent Arief Rohman admitted that the allowance regulation was a regulation from the central government .
He said that his party had not made many changes to the regulations.
"This is still being reviewed. Of course, since the regulations are central, we're waiting for the central government's approval," said the Blora Regent.
In fact, his party does not know the nominal amount of housing allowance or other things.
He also emphasized that there are definite rules for determining the amount of allowances.

Furthermore, the Regent of Blora also revealed that his party had held meetings with the Governor of Central Java and the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) to discuss the regulation.

"Yesterday, we held a meeting with the governor and the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda). Because this regulation is central, of course, we will leave it to the central government to determine how to regulate this matter," he explained.
It is known that, in accordance with Blora Regent Regulation Number 2 of 2024 which was stipulated and promulgated on January 26, 2024, the housing allowance for Blora DPRD members has increased.
In detail, the Speaker of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) is entitled to a housing allowance of Rp 34.39 million, followed by the Deputy Speaker at Rp 29 million, and finally, members at Rp 22 million per month. The total annual budget is Rp 12.29 billion.
This figure represents a slight increase compared to the previous Regent Regulation, Blora Regent Regulation No. 30 of 2022. The document states that the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) Speaker receives Rp 31.1 million, followed by the Deputy Speaker receiving Rp 26.6 million, and finally, members receiving Rp 22 million per month.
