Sat Pol PP Officers Clean Up Street Vendor Stalls in Blora

INFOKU, BLORA –Finally, the Civil Service Police Unit and Fire Department (Sat Pol PP and Damkar) of Blora Regency carried out control of street vendors (PKL) who violated regional regulation (Perda) Number 1 of 2017 concerning public order.

"Regarding street vendors who violate when selling, they do not clean or tidy up their stalls when they are not in use," said Yugo Wahyudi, Head of Public Order, Security, and Community Protection (Tibum) of Satpol PP and Damkar Blora Regency, Tuesday (15/4/2025).

Yugo said that his party is trying to create a Blora Regency that is clean, safe, orderly and everything looks neat.

"Some time ago we coordinated with the Blora Regional Secretary, and the Blora Regional Secretary has given ACC that Blora must be orderly, yesterday we were also monitored by Assistant 1 regarding the order, and today it is being implemented in stages," he explained.

According to Yugo, the clean-up was actually going to be carried out last month, but because it was the fasting month of Ramadan, his party respected it during the fasting month of Ramadan, so that traders could still sell.

"Today, two weeks after Eid 2025, we are implementing the clean-up in stages, initially at the former old market point, then the protocol road (Jalan Pemuda), and it is possible that we will clean up the Kridosono field," explained Yugo.

It is said that the reason it started at the former old market in Blora was the city center, near the town square.

"So the point is Blora must be more orderly. We are working together with the Blora Trade and Cooperatives and SMEs Office to carry out order and socialization to the community, especially to street vendors in Blora Regency. The Blora Trade and Cooperatives and SMEs Office has provided continuous socialization until now," he explained.

For direct control of street vendors in Blora Regency, a two-week schedule was implemented starting from April 14, 2025 to April 26, 2025.

In the former old market, it was targeted that there would be ten stalls, but because the fleet owned was limited, only a number of stalls were able to be tidied up.

A total of 14 Sat Pol PP personnel were involved, the officers carried out the clean-up by transporting the stalls onto vehicles.

The stalls that were transported will be secured at the Blora Satpol PP and Damkar Offices.

The stalls are not thrown away or destroyed, but kept.
