INFOKU, BLORA -A number of victims of the tornado disaster in Mernung Village, Cepu District and Kalen Village, Kedungtuban, received a number of aids from the Blora Regency Government and Baznas and the Ministry of Social Affairs, Wednesday (11/13/2024).
Each is a package of basic necessities and a number of daily necessities. Including cash assistance.
The aid was handed over directly to the victims by the Acting Regent of Blora Tri Yuli Setyowati, together with Kasdim 0721 Blora, Head of the Social Service P3A Blora, Head of BPBD. Also accompanying the local Forkopimcam.
"We are here together with Forkopimda, Dinsos P3A and Baznas Blora today to provide assistance, hopefully it can ease the burden experienced by you, ladies and gentlemen," said Tri Yuli.

For your information, the tornado incident that occurred on November 9, 2024 caused a number of houses to collapse and be damaged in the Cepu and Kedungtuban areas.
In the Mernung Village area, 4 houses collapsed, namely those belonging to Tasrip, Puliyo, Mulikah, and Sarko, while 11 other houses were damaged.
Then in Kalen Village, Kedungtuban District, 1 house collapsed, namely Sukardi's, and 2 other houses were badly damaged.
In front of the residents, the Acting Regent of Blora expressed his concern over the disaster that befell a number of his residents some time ago.
"We are sorry for the disaster that befell you, I pray that you are always under the protection of Allah SWT, and that you are always in good health," he said.
It is said that currently it is the rainy season. Therefore, the vigilance of all parties must be increased, to anticipate the potential for disaster.
"Of course we do not expect a disaster to occur. But this is a reminder for all of us to increase our vigilance, especially in the rainy season," said Tri Yuli.
One of the disaster victims, Wiji, a resident of Mernung Village, expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided.

He said the disaster severely damaged his house. Before the incident he managed to save himself by getting out of the house, before strong winds accompanied by rain caused the roof of his house to collapse. (Kusumawati)
