INFOKU, BLORA –Based on data from the last three years, cases of violence against womenandchildrenhave increased.
On average, cases are dominated by physical , sexual , psychological violence and neglect .
The large number of complaints of cases is because the public has started to be able to report via an online platform created specifically for cases of violence against vulnerable groups.
In her statement, the Head of the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Division ( P3A ) of the Blora Social Service ( Dinsos ) P3A, Amidah Rahayu, admitted that there were still many complaints regarding violence against women and children.

Data collected in the last three years, violence against women and children has increased. In total, it reached 68 cases.
Namely, in 2022 the number of complaints was 17 cases, increasing in 2023 to 23 complaints.
"Then, until October 2024, there were 28 complaints of violence against women and children," he said.
Amida explained that the anxiety of the community who were afraid and confused about reporting was a factor in the difficulties in the P3A social services in obtaining information.
However, with the innovation of WhatsApp and website- based complaint centers , people have begun to dare to report cases.
" The platform was created to receive complaints of violence against women and children," he explained.
He added that before online complaints were applied to the public, complaints were still limited to direct complaints.
Meanwhile, geographically, the location of the P3A social services office is quite far from the village areas.
"On this platform, we also hide the identity of the reporter and immediately follow up on the complaint with the team," he said.
Initial handling 1 Day
He admitted that currently, the assigned team consists of 73 people.
Involving regional apparatus organizations ( OPD ), Dinsos P3A staff, the community, academics , and doctors .
He explained that after receiving a complaint from the public, the team would conduct an assessment and outreach with a maximum duration of one day.
The length of time it takes to handle a complaint depends on how long it takes for the case to be resolved.
"Until the victim reaches the termination or social reintegration stage," he said.

Amida revealed that the complaints of violence that were often received were dominated by physical violence, sexual violence, psychological violence, and neglect.
According to him, the use of applications is quite effective in reaching cases of violence against women and children.
