INFOKU, BLORA –In a press statement, PT Kapur  Rembang  Indonesia ( PT KRI ) which is in conflict with residents of Jurangjero Village, Bogorejo District, admitted to having obtained a permit.

However, there are still incomplete requirements.

PT KRI's legal counsel, Abdul Mun'im, revealed that the company has been registered with  the online single submission  (OSS) and has a business registration number (NIB).

According to him, this is proof that the company has obtained permission from the center.

Mun'im said, indeed there are still some permit requirements that have not been completed by PT KRI. According to him, this is normal.

Asked about  the sealing of  PT KRI several months ago by KLHK officers, he admitted that he had not received this information from his client, because his party was currently still focusing on the assault case.

"So far, there has been no confirmation to me, and I am focusing on the case which is currently still under investigation and inquiry, we are focusing on the criminal act of assault," he said.

He emphasized that law enforcement must be carried out properly.

Don't let what is wrong be justified and what is right be blamed.

However, it is suspected that it is still operating and causing environmental impacts in the form of smelly smoke inhaled by residents.

Finally, the unwanted tragedy happened.

Jurangjero resident Raman said that PT KRI's activities  were disturbing  the comfort of residents.

Because it borders directly with Jurangjero Village, when limestone is burned using coal, smoke billows into Dukuh Kembang, thus causing an environmental impact.

"We are disturbed, the smell is very unpleasant, like sulfur. Sometimes it makes it difficult to breathe," he said.
