INFOKU, BLORA –In a press statement, PT Kapur Rembang Indonesia ( PT KRI ) which is in conflict with residents of Jurangjero Village, Bogorejo District, admitted to having obtained a permit.
However, there are still incomplete requirements.
PT KRI's legal counsel, Abdul Mun'im, revealed that the company has been registered with the online single submission (OSS) and has a business registration number (NIB).
According to him, this is proof that the company has obtained permission from the center.
Because PT KRI is a Foreign Investment (PMA).

Thus, regarding the strategic environmental study (KLHS) directly from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).
"So far, the permit is safe, there is no problem. Because the company is engaged in the field of limestone burning , everything is complete. We have everything in our pocket," he said.
Mun'im said, indeed there are still some permit requirements that have not been completed by PT KRI. According to him, this is normal.
His party has also received a letter regarding the feasibility test.
"Like yesterday's tragedy, at that time a trial was conducted , including a letter related to the feasibility of the trial and odor measuring devices. Because of its relationship with B3 waste," he explained.

He emphasized that because it is related to PMA licensing, the licensing process does not take place at the DLH , but rather at the KLHK.
“So, I don't think there's a problem, Klir,” he claimed.
Asked about the sealing of PT KRI several months ago by KLHK officers, he admitted that he had not received this information from his client, because his party was currently still focusing on the assault case.
"So far, there has been no confirmation to me, and I am focusing on the case which is currently still under investigation and inquiry, we are focusing on the criminal act of assault," he said.
He emphasized that law enforcement must be carried out properly.
Don't let what is wrong be justified and what is right be blamed.
Suppose one of the KRI employees is involved and proven guilty. It must be followed up.

"There is no problem (if followed up). Let the public be educated, not to judge for themselves, the ones who are harmed are the public," he said.

Previously, the Head of the Complaints Division of the Blora Environmental Services Agency (DLH), Muniri, admitted that he had received a complaint.
And, the letter has been followed up to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
Several months ago, his party was involved by KLHK officers to carry out sealing at PT KRI.
However, it is suspected that it is still operating and causing environmental impacts in the form of smelly smoke inhaled by residents.
Finally, the unwanted tragedy happened.
Jurangjero resident Raman said that PT KRI's activities were disturbing the comfort of residents.
Because it borders directly with Jurangjero Village, when limestone is burned using coal, smoke billows into Dukuh Kembang, thus causing an environmental impact.
"We are disturbed, the smell is very unpleasant, like sulfur. Sometimes it makes it difficult to breathe," he said.
He regretted the incident that occurred last Wednesday (13/11).

At that time, residents came to the location and complained about air pollution. However, they got injured.
"So, that night, the residents wanted the limestone burning blower to be reduced, so that the smoke would not be too disturbing. The situation heated up, until the Chinese businessman brought scissors and injured the local residents," he explained. (Endah / IST )
