"Blora's Statistical Development Index is Number 35 in Central Java," said Ms. Etik

INFOKU, BLORA – From the data, it turns out that Blora's Statistical Development Index ( IPS ) is still low

According to data from the Blora Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ), the IPS of the Sate City is 2.30 and of course this is a note for the local district government  to improve.

 The district government plans to increase its achievements in order to produce higher quality government data  .

Head of BPS Blora Rukhedi explained that after the assessment, Blora's IPS was 2.30.

The value is categorized as sufficient. There are several notes that need to be improved, namely on data accuracy.

"If the accuracy is not yet there, it must be a concern, that is a note for the Blora Regency Government," he said.

Rukhedi explained that there are five IPS assessment criteria, namely the domain of the principle of one Indonesian data ( SDI ), data quality, statistical business processes, institutions, and national statistics.

Each domain has indicators that are assessed.

"For example, the quality of this data is an important note for the local government. Have the SOP rules been built, are the human resources professional in the field of statistics, all of our indicators are summarized in the index list,'' he said.

Acting Regent  of Blora, Tri Yuli Setyowati appealed to all regional apparatus organizations ( OPD ) to improve the implementation of sectoral statistics to produce better quality data.

According to him, quality policies can only be formulated based on accurate, relevant and sustainable data.

"We cannot just rely on untested data. Therefore, let's strengthen efforts to organize sectoral statistics in each OPD," he said during a meeting at  Bappeda .

Etik explained that IPS Blora was ranked 35th in all regencies/cities in  Central Java .

So, concrete steps are needed to improve this ranking.

Collaboration of all parties is important to realize One Data Indonesia in Blora Regency.

"With quality data, we can support policies that are more responsive and oriented towards public welfare," he said.

He revealed that this year, the IPS assessment sample involved two OPDs, namely the Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs Service ( Dindagkop UKM ) and  BPBD .

For next year, five priority OPDs have been designated as assessment samples, namely BPBD, Dindagkop UKM, Food, Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries Service ( DP4 ),  Social  and P3A Service, and Public Works and Spatial Planning Service ( DPUPR ).

"We hope that BPS Blora Regency will provide guidance to OPD so that the implementation of sectoral statistics can be in accordance with the SDI principles," he explained. (Endah/ IST )
