INFOKU, BLORA – Currently construction of the Nglebok Cepu Embung is still ongoing.
The Blora Regency Government is targeting completion of the construction of this reservoir by mid-December.
This year the construction budget reached IDR 1.4 billion.
The funds were used to build embankments , embankments for rivers flowing into the reservoir, and to harden the land around the reservoir.

The continued development is targeted for completion in mid-December.

The letter continued, the improvements made to the reservoir were in the form of embankments along the river from the mouth of the reservoir to the Balun River.

"Including a footpath around the reservoir, so that vehicles can pass through," he explained.

The continued construction of the reservoir cost Rp. 1.4 billion from the APBD.
The auction process was attended by 16 partners, but only two partners submitted bids.
CV. Putro Sembodo, located at Jalan Sitimulyo Number 8, Cepu District, became the winner, defeating CV. Kinan Karya Gemilang.
He claims that the construction of the reservoir has been proven to contribute to overcoming seasonal flooding around Cepu District.
It was proven in the period last year, high rainfall December-January. Flooding can be minimized.
"Last year's experience during the rainy season, reservoirs were able to mitigate the impact of inundation. It has been proven," he said.
