Candidate pair for Regent-Deputy Regent of Blora number 01 Arief Rohman- Sri Setyorini ( Asri ) is committed to preserving cultural treasures and encouraging batik artisans to move up a class.
During his visit, Arief admitted that he was feeling nostalgic.
Because, previously I had visited the craftsmen of Blora's typical batik, namely Jatisari .
He appreciates the batik makers who have produced innovations.

"We appreciate the Blora batik makers who have innovations so that Blora batik has moved up a class," he said Wednesday (2/10).
Arief emphasized the importance of government support for micro, small and medium enterprises ( MSMEs ) to increase the economic value of batik artisans.
"My hope is that our support for MSMEs can improve the economy of batik makers and preserve our cultural heritage," he explained.
He also hopes that the Blora Regency Government (Pemkab) can hold a batik festival and batik design competition in the future. (Endah/ IST )
