INFOKU, BLORA – After holding the Simultaneous General Elections ( Pemilu ) on February 14, the General Election Commission ( KPU ) is now preparing to hold simultaneous Regional Head Elections ( Pilkada ).
These are the names of Blora Regional Head & Deputy Regent circulating in the communityIn contrast to presidential candidates who do not have an independent route , during regional elections, that route is wide open.
In Blora, the support of 52,821 people is needed to nominate an independent candidate pair ( paslon ) for regent and deputy regent.
Commissioner of the Blora KPU's Technical Election Implementation Division, Ahmad Solikin, said that individual candidates who wish to run for the Blora Regency Regent's election must fulfill several conditions.
Especially the minimum limit for community support. According to him, districts or cities with a population on the permanent voter list ( DPT ) of more than 500,000 to 1,000,000 people must be supported by at least 7.5 percent.

A schedule for fulfilling the requirements for candidates wishing to run independently has also been determined. Namely, from May 5 to August 19 or around three months.
Meanwhile, political parties ( political parties ) or coalitions wishing to register candidate pairs must meet the requirements for obtaining seats in the Blora DPRD of at least 20 percent.
"Or 25 percent of the accumulated valid votes in the general election for members of the Regional People's Representative Council from political parties that obtain seats in the Regional People's Representative Council. "If you count the seats, that means a minimum of nine seats," he added.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Branch Leadership Council (DPC) of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Blora Abdul Hakim said, despite winning a landslide victory in the 2024 Legislative Election (Pileg), his party has not yet determined who the future regent candidate will be.
