The patrol carried out last Saturday night (16/3) also found a number of youths having an alcohol party at a karaoke place near the Sambong gas station.

"We found a number of young people having an alcoholic party in one of the karaoke rooms ," he said.
It was explained that this routine Ramadan patrol will run in accordance with Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 5 of 2017 concerning Tourism. Based on article 44 paragraph 4, it is explained that night entertainment venues are prohibited from opening during Ramadan and must have an operational business permit.
“This Sambong karaoke has violated the provisions of this article. "There are operational violations and distribution of alcoholic drinks," he stressed. Welly explained that his party would carry out surveillance in a number of areas.
He admitted that his party still lacked officers to carry out searches in a number of areas.
So, enforcement requires time and valid information.
“There is information there, it is open, we are checking it. "Sometimes people complain about selective logging, even though we don't have enough officers, so it takes time," he concluded. ( Endah / IST )
