There are 125 villages in Blora at risk of experiencing drought

INFOKU, BLORA -  Drought has begun to hit a number of villages in the Blora region. The regional disaster management agency (BPBD) noted that as many as 125 villages in Blora have the potential for drought. Clean water assistance began to be sent to these villages.

Head of BPBD Blora Sri Widjanarsih said that his party was carrying out the delivery of clean water to all drought-affected areas. There are 125 villages in total.

"Later on, each village will have a different amount of clean water assistance. In essence, one tank contains 5,000 liters. In Doplang yesterday, we provided three tanks," he said yesterday (27/7).

Head of PMI Blora Sutikno Slamet said clean water assistance was routinely provided during the dry season. This assistance is PMI's concern for Blora residents.

“Every dry season we routinely provide clean water assistance. Usually residents ask us for help and then we drop them according to our abilities. This is a form of our concern for the needs of residents. On average, we help one to three tanks,'' he said. (Endah IST )
