The Vice Regent Asks PLWHA to be Patient and Enthusiastic in Facing Life's Tests

INFOKU, BLORA  - Blora Regency Government is committed to always be present in the midst of People with HIV/AIDS (ODHA).

This was conveyed by Deputy Regent of Blora Tri Yuli Setyowati while attending a routine meeting of the PLHIV group who are members of the Edelweis Cepu Peer Support Group (KDS) in the hall of RSUD dr. Soeprapto Cepu, Thursday (24/8/2023).

"Ladies and gentlemen, the Blora Regency Government is committed to always being present in the midst of all of you. Panjenengan doesn't need to worry," said Wabup Tri Yuli who is also Chair of the Blora Regency Aids Mitigation Commission (KPA).

Apart from being a routine activity, the meeting is also a place for educating and strengthening PLHIV

"This meeting is a means of high education. There is no need to regret what happened to you. It is our duty together so that what has happened does not happen to other communities and is also a means of strengthening you and all of us," continued Deputy Regent Tri Yuli.

The Wabup, who is familiarly called Ms. Etik, listened to complaints and suggestions from PLWHA.

“Stay patient and enthusiastic in facing life's high tests. We certainly don't want to get sick, but it's fate, we have to keep our spirits up in going through all the trials," he said.

Panjenengan keep your spirits high, when humans are given trials they have to be faced with patience and enthusiasm.

Regarding educating people about PLWHA, Ms. Etik added that it was a joint task. It takes synergy of all parties for this.

"Educating the community is not just your job. Our task is together, this requires the synergy of all parties. Stay away from the disease and the behavior, not the person," he said. (Setyorini/KOM)
