INFOKU, BLORA – After the resignation of the CEO of BPE some time ago, it seems that the performance of PT Blora Patra Energi (BPE) has started to come into the spotlight.
The reason is that the performance of the Blora regional owned enterprise (BUMD) is considered to be declining.
Of the 196 old wells in the Ledok Field, Sambong District, Blora, 70 of them have not been worked on.
PT Pertamina EP Field Cepu gave BPE a six month deadline to take care of it. If the well is not cultivated, Pertamina will withdraw its management.
There are 198 old wells in the Ledok Field which have obtained Pertamina permits and are managed by BPE.
"However, there are still around 70 wells that have not been worked on," said Assistant Manager Production Operation Pertamina EP Cepu Field Ardi, during the BPE chaotic audience at the DPRD office last Saturday (10/6) to the press.
According to Ardi, management of old wells by BPE in 2022 is considered less than optimal.
This is because 70 wells are still not fully managed. BPE still has one year out of the 1.5 years allotted to optimize the potential of the old well in Ledok.
"If in the last six months no old wells have been managed, inevitably Pertamina will withdraw them," he explained.
Ardi conveyed that the decline in BPE's performance was assessed in terms of coordination in the field.
In addition, BPE also does not report incoming investors to Pertamina. It is suspected that BPE does not know who the investors are.

The Acting Director of BPE Blora Prima Segara has not yet commented on this matter. When confirmed via telephone connection Sunday (11/6) they were not picked up.
The tough attitude of the Blora DPRD
Meanwhile, members of the Blora DPRD asked the management of PT BPE to optimize the management of the old Ledok well that had not been worked on.
In addition, also asked management to improve communication with various parties.
Chairman of Commission B DPRD Blora Yuyus Waluyo said his party had summoned BPE management several times to clarify.
"To optimize old wells, BPE also has to supervise in the field," he explained.
Yuyus said Pertamina, miners and BPE would follow up the audience on Saturday (10/6) and Pertamina would follow up on June 19.

According to him, during 2017-2021 BPE's performance was quite good, and even received an award.
Received the best BUMD award in Indonesia. Only in 2022-2023 is this questionable, he explained.
He continued, his party would invite BPE to improve communication with various parties. Among them is the association of oil miners from the Ledok wells (PPMTSL) and miners.
"We will reorganize, we will facilitate Pertamina with BPE to meet with fellow miners," he said. (Endah / IST )
