Even though they are no longer required to wear masks, the people of Blora are asked to maintain a healthy lifestyle


INFOKU, BLORA  - Head of Health Service (Dinkes) Blora Regency, Central Java, Edi Widayat, invites people to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This was emphasized after the government officially revoked the status of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia and began to enter endemic.

"This status applies Wednesday, June 21, 2023, with endemic status, the community is expected to maintain a healthy lifestyle," he said, in Blora, Friday (23/6/2023).

He said the President had imposed endemic status from the previous pandemic.

"This means that with the implementation of an endemic, Covid-19 will become a common disease and the service will no longer be free," said Edi Widayat.

With the implementation of the endemic, said Edi, the community no longer has the obligation to wear masks and it is possible that travel conditions will no longer be enforced.

However, the public is advised to remain vigilant and alert. "Society should always maintain the condition and endurance," he hoped.

Even though it is endemic, the Health Service is still providing Covid-19 vaccination services.

"We are still providing free Covid-19 vaccination services to the community at all puskesmas in Blora," he explained.

He hopes that people will maintain their health, drink lots of water, eat vegetables and do sports activities.

Edi Widayat added that with this climate change, people who experience coughs and colds and other complaints are advised to rest and be examined.

Furthermore, if you leave the house it is better to wear a mask. According to him, by wearing a mask so it doesn't spread even if it's just a cold cough.
