INFOKU, BLORA - The government of Tunjungan Village, Tunjungan District, Blora Regency, Central Java, is continuously collaborating with Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta to realize optimal community-based tourism management.
The Secretary of Tunjungan Village, Christoper Dwi Andana, explained that recently there had been students from UGM who had come to submit permits and notifications that they would carry out KKN.
"Yes, it's true, yesterday there were several students from UGM who came, the term kulanuwun and conveyed permission, the plan is for June 23 2023, according to the list there are 14 students," said Christoper Dwi Andana, Friday (9/6/2023).
Because it was related to the advanced program, he said, the students would later be brought closer to locations in Nglawungan and Greneng Hamlets.
"We plan to bring it closer to the location, maybe the posts can be at Kamituwo Nglawungan and Greneng's houses, later this will be further coordinated," he said.
Christoper Dwi Andana added, the Tunjungan BUMDes named Bangkit Tunjung Anom manages three business units, namely traditional markets, Pamsimas and village tourism.

So for the tourism business, we will ask younger siblings of UGM KKN students to help develop it. Meanwhile, the traditional markets are Pon and Legi, from the cleaning fee they get Rp. 180,000.00 per market.

"Continually, we are working with UGM to realize community-based tourism management, especially for development, sales, cultivation and marketing of agro-tourism that has been pioneered in Tunjungan Village," said Yasir, Head of Tunjungan Village, Friday (9/6/2023).
With hope, the impact will be an increase in the economy of the people of Tunjngan Village in the form of creating job opportunities and business opportunities, increasing people's income, and increasing the development of infrastructure around the village.

Yasir also mentioned that on June 23, 2023, according to the plan, there will be KKN students from UGM who are ready to continue the program from last year's KKN.
"Previously, the supervisor from UGM had informed them that there would be KKN students, so this is indeed an ongoing program," he explained.
He said, in the Tunjungan Village area there are a number of locations developed for tourism, namely Kampung Durian Dukuh Nglawungan, Hamlet Karangkembang (Klapanan) and Hamlet Greneng (Greneng reservoir tourism).
To note, the Regent of Blora H. Arief Rohman has inaugurated the Brilian Tunjungan Tourism Village in the Dukuh Nglawungan Durian Village area, Tunjungan Village, Tuesday (21/3/2023).

The inauguration of the Brilian Tunjungan tourism village took the theme "Management of Community-Based Tourism Areas Based on the Agro-ecotourism Concept".
After it was inaugurated, the Blora district head, who is familiarly called Mas Arief, encouraged online promotions from the village to be carried out actively, so that the wider community could know about the existence of this tour.
"Website, social media if it can be revived so that many will know. So if this tourism advances the community's economy will certainly increase," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the BRI Blora Branch, Ardi Ahmad Muharam, said that for the development of BRI Assisted Villages, the assistance provided included public facilities, support facilities, training and business equipment for groups with a total value of IDR 1 billion.
"From this assistance, we describe it in the form of a welcome gate, durian village entrance gate, paving, direction signs, signboards, art performance halls, public facilities, camping equipment, tourist equipment, bicycles and outbound equipment," he explained. (Setyorini/KOM)
