The Blora DPRD Asks for a 5 Percent Land Purchase Tax for Review

INFOKU, BLORA -Member of the Regional People's Legislative Council (DPRD) Warsit asked the Blora Regency Government (Pemkab) to review the 5 percent land sale and purchase tax imposed by the community, this was conveyed in the Tax Public Hearing event which took place at the DPRD Hall, Monday, 8 /05/2023.

For this reason, Warsit also said that after this it would be discussed with the Special Committee so that it could be agreed between the Special Committee and the Executive.

"We asked for his input, so that later it would become material for discussion between the special committee and the executive government," said Warsit

The event was also held to absorb people's aspirations regarding the draft regional regulation or Raperda regarding regional taxes and regional levies

OPD representatives and community representatives were also present to convey suggestions and input before the regional regulation was ratified as a regional regulation.

Separately, DPRD member Achlif Nugroho Widi Utomo explained that the public hearing was one of the stages in the mechanism for establishing regional regulations.

"The purpose of this public hearing is how do we hear input and suggestions from the community, because the community is the object of taxation," said Achlif Nugroho

Achlif also revealed that later there would be a rate adjustment in the application of taxes and fees that would be applied.

Not only the rate increase, but also the rate reduction in some elements of taxes or levies.

As is known, the draft regional regulation is a follow-up to Law number 1 of 2022 concerning regional financial balances.

For this reason, according to Achlif, the regional regulation must be immediately enacted.

"So the assumption of regional income for 2024 will already refer to the regional regulation," said Achlif Nugroho.

Especially with regard to local revenue (PAD) from elements of taxes and levies.

"Hopefully the product of regional regulations or regional regulations on regional taxes and fees will not burden the community, but will still fulfill the element of increasing local revenue from the tax element," he hoped.

Based on the mandate of the existing law, continued Achlif, all local revenues from taxes and fees must be included in one regional regulation, including health services.

Even though it has the status of a Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD).

"Regulations regarding health services are still included in regional regulations. Even if there is a change in rates later, it is sufficient to change them technically in the regent's own regulations," he concluded. (Endah)
