INFOKU, BLORA –After waiting for 32 years, the Indonesian national football team finally succeeded in getting a gold medal in the 2023 SEA Games which was held in Cambodia.
All the players looked very happy to get the gold medal they had been waiting for for 32 years.
The same thing seems to be felt by Pratama Arhan, a player from Blora Regency, Central Java.
Even though he couldn't appear due to an accumulation of red cards, Arhan still won a gold medal and joined him on the podium with his other colleagues.
Arhan is not the only one who feels proud of this achievement.
Surati as her mother also feels proud of her son's achievements.
"As a parent, you are proud, happy, sad because your child doesn't play, can't defend against Thailand and thank God he won," Surati said when met by journalists at his home, Sidomulyo Village, Banjarejo District, Blora Regency, Central Java, Wednesday (17/ 5/2023).
After his son got the gold medal, Surati had time to communicate with Arhan via video call. Surati said Arhan had presented him with a gold medal.
"Yes, during the video call after the match, a gold medal was displayed, 'I have a medal, ma'am, a gold medal'," said Surati, while imitating her conversation with her child.
