INFOKU, BLORA – There are approximately 27 terms of office for village heads (Kades) that will expire next year.
However, the election for village heads (pilkades) was overshadowed by a moratorium on delays from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri). However, the Blora Regency Government is still budgeting for next year's election.
Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Service (PMD) Yayuk Windrati said that he had budgeted for the Pilkades in 2023.

According to him, Pilkades will still be held next year, if there is no change in regulations.
"The most important thing is budgeted. If there is no change in regulations, God willing, it will still be," he explained.
Based on data from the PMD service, the term of office for the 19 village heads in Blora will end on August 17, 2023.
The other eight Kades have terms of office ending in October. This is according to the date of his inauguration as Kades.
Head of Administrative Division (Kabid) for Dwi Village Administration Edy Setyawan added, if the pilkades is postponed it will have an impact on the length of the pilkades.
However, if it is held next year, it is feared that it will be affected by politics because it enters the stages of simultaneous elections.
"If the person in charge (PJ) takes too long, it is clear that it is not effective," he explained.
According to him, the moratorium or postponement of the election for village heads will last from October 1 to December 31.
Pilkades moratorium is planned to apply throughout Indonesia. However, until now, this regulation has not been explained in a circular letter or the like.
"The budget at the agency is ready, for outreach and other things, that is the bankeu (financial assistance) budget in the village. Whatever the decision (of the government and DPR) is, it will definitely be the best," he said. (Endah/ IST )
